A closed-door restaurant

serving family-style,

rural Vietnamese cuisine

in Buenos Aires

For years my friends have encouraged me to start a restaurant or have simply asked me to cook for them. And for years I have dismissed the idea, thinking they were just being kind and that having a restaurant has got to be one of the most difficult things to handle. Then I moved to Buenos Aires and the longing for aromas and flavors of my childhood became too much to bear. These cravings have led me to an exciting new endeavor: a closed door restaurant.

I am calling this culinary project "A Little Saigon" as that is what I am offering: a small sample of Vietnamese culture. The recipes are mostly from memories of my parents cooking at home. I don't claim to be a chef, so no worries that the food will be "fusion" or "influenced" in any way. I am simply offering pure Vietnamese food, my home, and new friends with whom to enjoy this experience.

With the help and support of my boyfriend, Ben, we will open our home once a month to

12-16 people who love Vietnamese food or are simply curious for something different.

We hope to eat with you soon.
